New for 2012

Welcome to 2012, will it be the last year of civilisation as we know it? Hopefully not as a year in and we’re really only just getting started!!
2011 was good for Scottish Bartending but its going to pale in comparison to whats happening in 2012, here’s a brief summary, more details to follow:
WORLD CLASS 2012
Registration is open now with the 1st forum in Edinburgh (for all Scottish Entrants) at the end of January. Follow this link through to the Imbibe site to get your name on the list pronto!
CAORUNN INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
Our good friends at Caorunn Gin are planning something MASSIVE for 2012, there will be heats going on as far afield as Australia to win a coveted place in the Grand Final here in Scotland against whichever one of you wins the home round!!
SLOANE’S DRY GIN COMPETITION
After the success of the SLOANE’S DRY GIN competition held in conjunction with ’10 Dollar Shake’ in Aberdeen last year we are delighted to announce there will be similar events in Edinburgh and Glasgow with the first one up held at ’56 North’ on the 20th of February, details to be confirmed asap!!
WHITLEY NEILL ‘LADIES DAY’
‘Whitley Neill Gin’ are happy to sponsor our first ‘Ladies Only’ Competition!
We felt that often mixology competitions can become an extremely male dominated event so for this one they’re banned! Full details TBC
SCOTTISH FLAIR CHAMPIONSHIP
Its been a few years since there was any big flair competitions in Scotland so this year we are going to bring it back with a bang!
There will be 2 levels:
Beginner (less than 2 years practise)
Professional (over 2 years practise)
